We married in 1992 after meeting through work, we have two children and Emma’s father living with us.
Adrian – Husband, sales, administration, buyer and showman - was a city boy when we moved to the country, it took time to adjust and get used to life without street lights & takeaways. A senior quantity surveyor with a multi-national building group. Rapidly becoming a farmer with a professional ability to absorb and select the most useful information with an intuitive cattle eye. A fidget with unlimited enthusiasm who cannot sit still for a moment, if you find him stationary and not talking, he is asleep, quite don’t wake him!
Emma – Wife, stock selection, animal care & welfare – with an intelligent commonsense no nonsense approach and multi-tasking abilities. Now where did I leave those car keys?
Doug – Emma’s father, retired publican and restaurateur. Our stock is in safe hands with his boundless enthusiasm, animal knowledge and watchful eye. He can remember helping his father with the shire horses and being allowed to ride them home after a long day working in the fields! Passing on his skills to his grandchildren.
